Jalil Wahdatehagh

Jalil Sebastian Wahdatehagh is a crypto-native artist and builder working across NFT minting and Ethereum tooling. His work spans self-published writing, collecting, and building tools for the Ethereum ecosystem. He describes himself as a gardener at onezerozeroone and an apprentice at Visualize Value, the studio led by artist Jack Butcher. His first project was one day i'll be a punk, a free collectible released to 10,000 claimers in the summer of 2021. On the day of the mint, gas costs were high enough that the contract briefly ranked second on Etherscan's list of gas-guzzling contracts, which he later wrote about as a reflection on the value of decentralized computation. He also built CryptoPunksMarket, a trustless smart contract that lets V1 CryptoPunks trade natively through their original 2017 contract without being wrapped. With ygg and Jack Butcher, he is developing networked.art, an Ethereum-based auction house.
