SHL0MS is a pseudonymous artist who works mainly online, blending performance, conceptual art and viral provocation. Active since around 2017, he treats Twitter/X as both medium and stage, using it for hoaxes, provocations and NFT releases, and names Marcel Duchamp and Yves Klein as influences. His early projects include FNTN, a readymade sculpture smashed and sold as a collection, and CAR, which in 2022 filmed the fragments of a detonated Lamborghini Huracan. In 2024 he made MOON:BEAM with Karborn, bouncing radio signals off the moon during that year's total solar eclipse. In 2026 he posted a cropped scan of a Claude Monet Water Lilies painting claiming it was AI-generated, then minted it as an NFT titled inferior image, which sold for just over $40,000.
