Camille Roux

Camille Roux is a French generative artist and creative coder. He worked as a back-end developer and ran his own business for a decade before turning to creative coding at the end of September 2021, drawn by the same appetite for improvisation he had found in generative music. His first fxhash project, SEA, went live later that year, and he went on to publish fifteen projects on the platform, several of them in a recurring palette of red, yellow, white and green. In 2022 he organised BRIDGE, a collaborative project on fxhash for which he wrote a base framework that two dozen other artists worked from. He became Bright Moments' Artist in Residence in March 2023, releasing Intricada, and with Matthieu Segret formed the Immutable Collective, whose collection The Source appeared on gm.studio in July 2023. Roux hosts a monthly generative art segment on the podcast NFT Morning, interviewing other artists about their processes and tools.
