heeey

heeey, also known as Xavi Lozano, is a generative artist and architect based in Barcelona. He writes algorithms that build minimal art systems inviting viewer participation and interaction. His early work drew on blockchain data, including Starry Nights and Proposers in 2021. He has since released generative collections on Art Blocks, among them Transit, an exploration of public transport maps, and Bright, which works with light and colour across a grid of neon lines. In 2025 his interactive piece Political (sub)Division won the Digit-01 open call, and he wrote the daily prompt "Triangles and nothing else" for Genuary in January of that year. Recent projects include À la ville de, made with support from Beca Numèric 2024, and Totxana, a generative structure produced for Barcelona Producció 2026 in which participants move coloured bricks through the exhibition space.
