Kristopher Shinn

Kristopher Shinn is a photographer based in Seattle who works primarily on film. Born in San Francisco, he grew up in the Bay Area of California and has released his work both physically and digitally. His series draw on places and journeys. By Way of Water documents trips on the ferries around Seattle, and Glaumbær II photographs the turf huts of Glaumbær, Iceland. For Mom, With Love comes from memories of visiting Cannon Beach, Oregon, with family, and from the bond Shinn formed with his mother after his father's death. He has also photographed in Dublin and in Japan, and has collaborated with the photographers Batzdu, Postwook and Efdot.
