Leander Herzog

Leander Herzog is a Swiss artist who codes generative works, mostly in JavaScript and GLSL. He painted graffiti before turning to code, learned Processing through a workshop led by Marius Watz, and began making images with code in 2006. From 2009 to 2021 he worked full-time as a web designer and engineer, and in 2021 he minted his first NFT on Hic et Nunc. In 2022 he began Gerhard, a collaboration with Richard Nadler, and in December 2023 he joined Kim Asendorf and Andreas Gysin to form AGH, which premiered at the Funkhaus in Berlin and travelled to Art Dubai the following year. His Infinite Garden, a blockchain-based generative ecosystem, was released in 2025. His work is held by HEK Basel, ZKM Karlsruhe and the Francisco Carolinum Linz.
