loackme

loackme is a French creative coder and generative artist based in Amsterdam. He completed a PhD in Statistics and worked as a researcher before leaving academia in 2018 for digital art and graphic design. His work is built on dithering algorithms, which approximate a wide range of colours and greys from a limited palette, and tends towards monochrome, geometric forms and animated loops. Among his projects are Limbo, made for The Pixel Generation at Unit London in 2023, and SPACE\TIME, released on Verse the same year. In 2024 his work base23 was a finalist in the CONTACT ATTEMPT open call organised by the Foundation Herbert W. Franke to mark the 50th anniversary of the Arecibo message, and was shown at the Hamburg and Bochum planetariums. Playgrounds, a solo show gathering three series, opened at Galerie Met in Berlin in April 2026.
