Milian Mori

Milian Mori is a Swiss composer and digital artist working across sound, algorithmic visuals and performance. He is based in Switzerland. After a bachelor's degree in sound art, he completed a master's in composition at the University of Bern in 2022, the same year he joined the German label Raster Noton and released his debut album AS YOU WERE LISTENING, made in the language of dub techno. His solo practice brings together dance music, generative pixel-based visuals and minimal composition, and in performance he pairs contemporary bass music with black-and-white graphical animations. He has cited Ryoji Ikeda and Aoki Takamasa as influences. In 2023 he took up a residency at Co-iki in Tokyo and presented Public Visuals at DOMMUNE. In 2024 he premiered a collaboration with sho players from the Mitakadai Quartet at WALL_alternative in Tokyo.
