Olga Fradina is a Ukrainian generative artist from Kyiv, born in 1975. She studied graphic design at the Kyiv Art and Industrial Institute and first encountered Mac computers and photo editing in a newspaper design department in the late 1990s. She went on to work as an interior designer for more than twenty years, with projects published in Dezeen, Architectural Digest and Elle Decoration, and also made ceramics and other physical work. The 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine halted her design work, and she moved fully into Web3, having come to generative art through fx(hash). She works with geometry, texture and emotional states through creative coding, drawing on early twentieth-century Suprematism. Her ongoing Textures series and the piece Silence are among her known works, and in 2023 she showed Composition works in Unit London's group exhibition Building Blocks.
