Per Kristian Stoveland

Per Kristian Stoveland is a Norwegian generative artist based in Oslo. Born in 1978, he graduated from the Oslo School of Graphic Design and taught himself to code from the late 2000s onward while working in design and advertising, beginning with Flash animation. In 2015 he co-founded the Oslo design studio Void, which has produced permanent public works in the city including Delta, a light sculpture that reacts to pedestrian movement, and C8 - Tesseract. Stoveland turned toward generative art in 2021, after watching a friend's project launch on Art Blocks. He is known for The Harvest, an edition of 400 generative landscapes released on Art Blocks in 2023, and for Pursuit and Echo of Intensity, made the same year for the Velocity Series. In 2024 he returned to The Harvest's algorithm with Keepsakes.
