poperbu

Poperbu is a generative artist based in Barcelona. He makes abstract audiovisual compositions using Pure Data and Hydra videosynth, and releases visual and sound pieces on a weekly basis. He describes himself as drawn to the balance between order and chaos in generative art. In 2025 he took part in 'Més enllà de la pantalla', the second edition of the Barcelona Generative Art Exhibition, held at Palo Alto Barcelona, alongside thirteen other artists working with code, algorithms and autonomous systems. In 2026 he participated in 'MAGBa3 - Orígens', for which he reinterpreted a work chosen from the 1976-78 run of the magazine Computer Graphics and Art.
