Rachel Suzanne Tien Wood is a photographer and multidisciplinary artist working across travel photography and AI imagery. In 2019 she quit an office job, bought a camera and took a one-way ticket to Peru. She has since traveled solo to Mongolia, to a paleontology dig in Argentina, and to Antarctica. Her ongoing project Terra Nova photographs places and moments she describes as ones that won't exist tomorrow; a work from it, Litli-Hrutur Sunset, was released through Gamma Prints in 2025. In 2024 her work was selected for 100 Artists to Watch, an open call juried by curators from institutions including the Museum of Modern Art and Christie's. In 2026 she contributed The First GM to The Memes. Wood is a member of the digital art collective TIMEPieces, uses photography to raise funds for conservation and charity organizations, and is a patron to women in photography and BIPOC artists.
