Slimesunday

Slimesunday is the American collage artist Mike Parisella, who lives and works in Salem, Massachusetts. Born in 1991, he began making digital art after hearing a track by Skrillex, teaching himself Photoshop and later Cinema 4D, and built a following of more than 500,000 on Instagram. His collages deal with censorship, consumerism and sexuality, and have repeatedly been removed from social media platforms for violating their content rules. He has released his work as NFTs, including Faces, a 2021 collaboration with DJ 3LAU as SSX3LAU that became Nifty Gateway's most-minted open edition. That year he also debuted the collection What the Fork? in New York with Phillips and presented SPF 30 with Christie's at Art Basel Miami. In 2023 he released the print Jesus Is Watching in partnership with DROOL and launched The Great Purge, inviting collectors to burn unwanted NFTs.
