Tristan Rettich

Tristan Rettich is a Canadian artist based in Vancouver, where he also works under the names wornpixel and Pixeldreams_art. A graduate of the Art Institute of Vancouver, he spent over a decade in visual effects for film as a texture painter and concept artist, contributing to Black Panther, Okja and Rings of Power, and serving as a senior texture painter at Digital Domain. He has also taught at Think Tank Training Center in Vancouver. His own work is largely generative and geometric, including the series CONSTRUCTS and GRIDS, and BasedPixels, a set of 1/1 pieces drawing on retro media and video game aesthetics. In 2024 he released Equilibrium through Prohibition Daily, and in 2025 the edition RETRO GRIDS on Manifold.
