ykxotkx

ykxotkx is a Japanese generative artist, creative coder and software engineer who discovered generative art during the 2021 NFT boom, citing Tyler Hobbs's Fidenza and Generativemasks as early influences. He releases most of his work on fxhash and on objkt on Tezos. His projects often draw on Japanese subjects and on science fiction. Traveler (2022) follows a lone traveler through an imagined sci-fi universe, and Flower Arrangement (2022) was shown at the fxhash booth at Art Basel Miami Beach. In 2023 he was selected as one of the first fifteen artists for the Museum of Modern Art's blockchain-based Postcard project, and was commissioned as the third generative artist for Nishikigoi NFT, made with the village of Yamakoshi. In 2024 he made Flow Painting for Patterns of Flow, an exhibition hosted by Feral File and NEORT++.
